Our student support system is unique and tailored to supporting students who are studying online through our VLS platform. You will be allocated your own personal tutor, and specialist tutors will support you through each module and assess your assignments; providing you with helpful feedback throughout your course. You can contact your tutor directly at any time via VLS mail, telephone or Skype. Individual tutorials with your tutor can be arranged by appointment, either face to face or by telephone or Skype. We also have a lively student forum – so you never need to feel alone out of office hours.
If you want help and need to speak to a tutor urgently, you’ll be actively encouraged to call our student helpline where our team of experienced tutors will be on hand to assist you with your urgent requests 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, BST.
Student Support Team
Some students may have an individual learning need or disability requiring extra support or consideration. Our student support team can help to arrange assessments by our university partner and advise on how to access grants to help with study. They will arrange an individual learning plan to suit your circumstances.
A member of the Student Support Team can assist you with university partner regulations and arrange for an extension to your submission date, a study break due to extenuating circumstances or to arrange for additional time due to a holiday if required. Always contact the Student Support Team or your Tutor with any questions you may have or anything you would like to be explained in more detail. They are always there to help!
