This course will teach you the specialist skills required by this competitive global industry. You can also Top-Up your Foundation Degree, HND or BTEC to a full BSc (Hons) Motorsport Engineering, with just one year’s further study. Study flexibly online and part-time, fit your studies around your job and family, even choose your own start date.
Not only will you be highly competent using the latest industry software included with your course, you will also have extensive practical motorsport engineering experience, with opportunities to join the NMA Race Team for race weekends.
At the end of your Bachelor’s degree, you will be a fully qualified motorsport engineer with the highly sought-after skills, experience and specialist knowledge demanded by today’s top teams and employers. GCSE Maths grade C or above (or equivalent) is required, plus ONE of the following:
Level 3 Diploma (or extended Diploma) or equivalent in ONE of the following:
A minimum of 100 UCAS points that must include one A level in Physics and or Maths (or equivalent)
You should also have a CV showing evidence of automotive or motorsport practical engineering experience or some involvement with motorsport e.g. as a team volunteer etc.
If you do not have this practical experience you may be asked to volunteer for a team as a condition of your place on the course.
Foundation Degree, HND, BTEC or Advanced Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification at Level 5 in ONE of the following:
Applicants not familiar with software packages: Inventor, GT Suite and Star CCM+ may need to study an additional module ‘Research and Development Simulation and Analysis’ from the full BSc (Hons) before commencing the top-up. CPD credits will be awarded for this module

We welcome applications from mature students aged 21+ without qualifications but with practical motorsport or automotive engineering experience.
