NMA Degrees are Forces Friendly!

The National Motorsport Academy is pleased to announce that we are now a registered learning provider on the MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELCAS). Our ELC Approved Provider status now means that all of our motorsport degrees are now accessible for both serving Armed Forces personnel and service leavers. Our courses provide those with an engineering background the opportunity to convert their existing skills into highly sought-after motorsport specific qualifications.

Jump to our page on the ELCAS website we are registered under the NDA Foundation.

Which courses are available through ELCAS?

The NMA offer two degree qualifications through ELCAS – the BSc (Hons) Motorsport Engineering and the MSc Advanced Motorsport Engineering. The BSc can also be accessed as a ‘Top-Up’ qualification where only the final year is studied, enabling those with a relevant Foundation Degree, HND, BTEC or Modern Apprenticeship to skip the first two years.

How do I apply through ELCAS?

Applications for all NMA courses are made via our website.  ELCAS is simply the route through which you fund your course fees, which by the way, are 40% lower than most University fees!

Once you have completed your application it will be considered, along with any supporting documents and information, by our tutors. It’s really important to include information about any motorsport or general automotive engineering experience, even if it’s been in your spare time or as a hobby. This is the stage at which you will need to make your application via ELCAS using our ELC Provider Number 10288.

If your application is accepted, you will receive a welcome email from our Director of Motorsport with details of how to complete your enrolment.

We’ve put a list together of just a few of the motorsport careers available:
