National Motorsport Academy Announces Partnership with Careers in Motorsport
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Careers in Motorsport, a new digital career-development platform designed to help students and early-career candidates take the next step towards working in the motorsport industry.
Created specifically for the motorsport sector, Careers in Motorsport aims to help students understand their strengths, explore potential career pathways, identify skills gaps, and connect with real employers across the industry.
As part of the partnership, the first 100 NMA students to register will receive full access to the Careers in Motorsport platform completely free of charge.
What is Careers in Motorsport?
Careers in Motorsport is a digital platform designed to support students, graduates, and early-career candidates as they work towards careers in the motorsport industry.
The platform brings together a range of tools to help users better understand where they are now, where they want to go, and what they may need to develop along the way.
These tools include:
- Career profiling
- Skills-gap analysis
- Career mapping
- Knowledge testers
- Study guides
- Motivational podcasts
- Live motorsport job feeds
- The Career Velocity Index, which helps students track their career readiness and engagement
Through the platform, students can also build a profile that goes beyond a traditional CV, helping them showcase their progress, interests, skills, projects, and career goals to potential employers.
How Could This Benefit NMA Students?
Motorsport is a competitive industry, and many opportunities rely on students being able to clearly demonstrate their commitment, capability, and understanding of the sector.
Careers in Motorsport gives students a more structured way to track their development, identify areas for improvement, and better understand the skills employers may be looking for.
For NMA students, this partnership provides another useful tool alongside their studies, helping them think more clearly about their future career options and how they can continue preparing for work in motorsport and high-performance engineering.
Becoming More Visible to Employers
One of the key benefits of Careers in Motorsport is the ability for students to build a searchable profile.
This allows students to showcase more than just their qualifications, including their skills, interests, experience, projects, and career ambitions.
The platform also supports employers by helping them discover emerging talent earlier, creating a stronger connection between students, education providers, and the wider motorsport industry.
How Can NMA Students Sign Up?
NMA students can register through the Student Pre-Registration option on the Careers in Motorsport homepage.
Once selected, students will be asked to enter their email address and choose National Motorsport Academy as their place of study from the dropdown menu.
After registering, students will receive their unique sign-in details by email. The first 100 NMA students to register will receive full free access to the Careers in Motorsport platform and all of its features.
Students who register after the first 100 places have been claimed will still be able to access the platform for free to build their profile, view jobs, and become visible to employers. However, additional features such as the Career Accelerator will only be available through a paid subscription.
