TyeDyeRacing & NMA
A few months ago, a Youtuber named ‘TyDyeRacing’ released a video around Lotus’ 2011 Le Mans project. For those who don’t know, the project didn’t quite go according to plan. Â
For those who also don’t know, the video is about the Lotus Evora GTE which is now owned by the National Motorsport Academy. Part of the reason for buying this car was the large spares package on offer, enabling us to build a 2nd car that allows us to modify it without affecting the original Evora’s historic value.
Thomas’ video came to a conclusion around 2015, just before we took ownership of the car, so, it only felt right to reach out to him and see if he would be interested in continuing the story of the Evora.Â
After getting in touch, we invited him to Silverstone for Round 5 of the GT Cup to get a closer look at the Evora, watch it in action and meet Kieran, Wayne and Ed to gain a further insight into the history of the Evora since 2015.Â
Thomas was an absolute pleasure to work with, and his enthusiasm for the National Motorsport Academy shines in the video.Â
If you’re interested in finding out the history of our Lotus Evora GTE, and how we’ve developed the car since creating our ‘spares part’, we highly recommend watching Thomas’ video below.
We’d like to give a huge thank you to Thomas for accepting our invite to Silverstone and being a fantastic guest all weekend long!Â
